This piece is vaguely inspired by Thomas Newman. I asked how I would write music for a cartoon about family. The original melody was supposed to capture something like the joys of childhood, the complex love of loved ones, the growing pains of development, and then the potential of adulthood. At the time of writing, I think the sentiments leaned more on the front end of that list of things.
